The dive sites headed for from Mapia are a paradise for muck diving fans! In the black volcanic sand along the coast you will find a large variety of small and rare critters, such as frogfish in all colours, ghost pipefish, splendid cuttlefish, harlequin shrimps and real rarities of snails. Muck-diving is comparable to the famous Lembeh Strait, and if you prefer to do the comparison yourself, you can book a daytrip with Celebes Divers with three dives to Lembeh Strait. From the in-house jetty the house reef is easily accessible and a real highlight especially during night dives.

Those who like to explore the steep walls of Bunaken National Park can also do so from Mapia Resort & Spa.
